Five Things: Free MLB Jerseys At Modell's Grand Opening

1. Modell’s Sporting Goods is celebrating its Grand Opening today in the Interstate Shopping Plaza in Ramsey – and for you that could mean a free NY Yankees or NY Mets Replica Player Jersey worth $100. Free jerseys will be handed out to the first 100 adults on line when the store opens at 9 a.m. today.
2. The Town Council is holding a public meeting at 8 p.m. tonight. Items on the agenda include issues that have gotten a lot of public attention – the appointment of a , and a vote on the . 
3. The deadline for students to submit applications to the Grammy Camp, which will run in New York this summer and is looking for students from New Jersey, is today. Students can fill out a preliminary online application today and apply for an extension to have more time to fill out the rest of the application. More information on the Grammy camp can be found at its website, or by emailing grammycamp@grammy.com about an extension.
4. The Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce will host a free. The networking event is hosted by TD Bank, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at TD Bank on East Crescent Ave. in Ramsey. 
5. Although the calendar says it is the last day of March, according to the National Weather Service, there is a winter storm watch in effect from late Thursday night through Friday evening. The NWS is expecting anywhere from five to 10 inches of snow to fall in Mahwah.
