Mahwah Class Of 2020 Gets Unique Graduation Gift
Ridge Road has been honorarily renamed to MHS Class of 2020 Way for the remainder of the year.
MAHWAH, NJ — Mahwah High School's class of 2020 graduated last night, albeit virtually. The ceremony, which was livestreamed to YouTube, is almost certainly not what most of the graduating class had in mind.
The Township Council expressed an understanding of that at a recent meeting, and vowed to offer a unique gift for the unique circumstances.
At a June 11 meeting of the Township Council, members voted in favor of an honorary renaming of Ridge Road to MHS Class of 2020 Way for the remainder of the calendar year.

As of June 12, a new sign has been added to the existing Ridge Road sign.
On the Facebook post announcing the decision, one parent expressed gratitude for the move.
