Mahwah Company Uses LEGOs, Hands-On Learning To Teach Kids

Stryker held its annual Take Our Kids To Work Day recently.

MAHWAH, NJ — Stryker, a medical technology development company, hosted its annual LEGO-themed Take Our Kids To Work Day recently.

More than 200 8- to 12-year-olds learned about the joint replacement industry through interactive, educational activities utilizing science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) skills. Activities included building blocks, robots and Kragle foam slime, along with helping create “snack packs” containing healthy, kid-friendly and easy to prepare sealed food to help school-aged children.

Stryker has participated in the Take Our Kids to Work Day program for 12 years.
