Mahwah Gifted And Talented Students Showcase Their Artistic Skills

The fourth and fifth grade students belong to the Project Challenge Art Program.

MAHWAH, NJ — Several students' artwork is on display at the Trail Conference at the Darlington Schoolhouse.

The fourth and fifth grade students belong to the Project Challenge Art Program, which serves gifted and talented students.

The program provides students with opportunities to advance their artistic abilities and deepen their understanding of the imaginative and creative process.

Courtney Carrelha, the gifted and talented coordinator at Joyce Kilmer Elementary School said the show was a "great success."

Fourth graders: Savannah Ekwe, Evelyn Kroczynski, Colette Leto, John Morris, Kaia Pierce, Matthew Pilat, Liam Roche, Evangeline Schmalz and Emily Wong,

Fifth graders: Christian Cruz, Michael Dean, Sofiya Doroshenko, Kaylie Kim, Ashley Kim, Olivia Lee, Emma Leff, Isabella Lotito, Ricardo Petroni, Zoey Wen and Astrid Yohay.
