Residents can still catch the last few days of an exhibit depicting Bear Swamp Creek in Mahwah.
“Four Seasons on Bear Swamp Creek,” a collection of watercolors and paintings in ink by local artists Bob Demarest and Bill Logan will be shown at at 113 Cottage Place in Ridgewood until Thursday.
According to the exhibit’s catalog, the two artists spent about two years in Mahwah, watching the creek change over time. “The seasons of year, the time of day, atmospheric conditions, changing light and the pageantry of nature captured their hearts and their talents,” the catalog explains.
