Cookie Cutters offers an interactive haircut experience that has an in-store playground. It opened last month.
The sitting chairs are modeled after race cars, motorcycles, fire trucks, and airplanes and kids can watch their favorite television shows while getting their haircut.
Dumont resident Jennifer Pirot owns the salon.
"Little ones can be terrified by the haircut experience — the loud buzz of clippers, the confinement in a chair, the orders from a stranger to sit still," Pirot previously said. "Nothing in the salon will be scary or intrusive for a child."
