Mahwah Library To Present "History of Animation"
The presentation will take a look at the field's humble beginnings up to the advanced technology of the modern era.

The Mahwah Public Library will host “A History of Animation” presentation on Tuesday night.
The event will run from 7 - 8:30 p.m. in the Winter Room.
The presentation will trace the history of animation from Walt Disney and “Looney Tunes” to “Star Wars” and “Lord of the Rings.”

“Discover how animation began in the U.S. and flourished around the world from its origins in silent shorts to full length color movies,” the Mahwah Public Library website states. “Come and hear inside stories and some little known facts about this American art form that has become internationally popular. ”
The program will be moderated by a staff member from the library. The guest speaker is C.A. MacFinn, an animator and an app designer.
