Mahwah Man Threatens To Kill Mary Ann's Deli Owner, Stabs Him In The Stomach Police Say

Francesco Accurso, 48, allegedly grabbed a knife and told the owner he would 'cut his stomach open,' police said.

A Mahwah man was charged with aggravated assault after he allegedly threatened, fought with, and stabbed the owner of Mary Ann’s Deli, police said.

Francesco Accuro, 48, allegedly got into an argument with the owner of Mary Ann’s Deli Friday at about 5 p.m. after he had gone there to retrieve items that he thought he owned after the dissolution of a business arrangement, Chief James M. Batelli said.

An argument broke out between the two men, which turned violent, Batelli said.
