Mahwah Mayoral Race

I'm sure that everyone in town is surprised to learn that Rob Hermansen is running for mayor. The current Counsel president, who has been a the helm while two major lawsuits have cost the taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars, is now asking the same taxpayers to support his campaign for a higher office. He has managed to bully and intimidate his underling counsel members into supporting his rants and raves against the mayor, and they collectively blame the mayor for all of the township's past troubles. They deny knowing anything about the attorney general's advice against enacting the ordinances that were the subject mater of the lawsuits, and lay the blame at the mayor's feet. Well, Rob, please explain why such weak and ineffective performance as counsel president should now qualify you for the mayor's seat? You, and the counsel, while under your direction and control, bear no responsibility for any of this as the chief governing body of the Township? Who are you kidding? This has all been a ploy to get to the mayor's position all along, and your tactics have done nothing but harm Mahwah. Of course you were behind the Recall campaign, and of course you now want everyone that opposes you to drop out and support the "one true candidate" for the good of Mahwah - you of course. What B.S.! Mahwah doesn't need any more of your bullying and disrespectful nonsense. You should be voted out just like you were by the Bergen County voters who kicked your ass out of the Freeholder job years ago. Mahwah needs an honest, decent man or woman in this position, not more of you and your cohorts. There are other qualified, honorable people running and you should think about backing one of them for the good of Mahwah. The truth about you is coming out. You are damaged goods, and should start doing what is really in the best interests of the town you claim to love so much. Don't go away mad, just go away.
