Rachel E. Topping, 32, and Trevor D. Green, 27,
MAHWAH, NJ — Police are looking for a couple who fled after a machete and various drugs were found in their vehicle, authorities said.
Officer Tyler Boucher stopped a vehicle on Interstate 287 and spoke with the driver, Rachel E. Topping, 32, of Colorado and passenger Trevor D. Green, 27, of Pennsylvania, said Police Chief James Batelli.
A K-9 unit searched the vehicle after the couple failed to give consent to Boucher to search it. The K-9 positively identified the presence of narcotics in the vehicle, which police impounded, Batelli said.
