Mahwah Schools Closed Thursday

MAHWAH, N.J. — Mahwah public schools are closed Thursday.

All meetings, athletic practices, athletic competitions and co-curricular activities are also cancelled.

The biggest snowstorm of the season is expected to bring 6 to 12 inches of snow, as well as some sleet, rain or ice.

The National Weather Service has issued a ”winter weather warning” for the entire state, except for Atlantic, Cape May and Cumberland counties. Those counties have been issued a "winter weather advisory."
