Mahwah Schools to Have Delayed Opening Monday

Mahwah Public Schools will follow a two hour delayed opening schedule on Monday, March 2 after Winter Storm Sparta brought its “expansive” stripe of snow, sleet and freezing rain to New Jersey on Sunday.

The National Weather Service says a ”Winter Weather Advisory” will be in effect from 10 a.m. Sunday to 4 a.m. Monday, saying a mixture of snow, sleet and freezing rain will cover the entire state.

The weather conditions also have the potential to create a messy commute Monday morning.
