Mahwah Senior Center to hold Holiday Shopping Trip to NYC Dec. 15

Mahwah seniors, if you need to visit the City of Lights to complete your Christmas shopping, you’re in luck.

There will be an opportunity to do just that at the Holiday Shopping Trip to New York City on Monday, Dec. 15.

Participants can enjoy the holiday season as they visit the tree at Rockefeller Center, go ice skating, enjoy the restaurants in Manhattan, watch the Radio City Christmas Spectacular’s 11 a.m. performance, or go shopping and visit the stores on Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s on 34th Street and all the boutiques and shops in between.

Tickets are $12 per person for round trip transportation. Those interested should reserve their spot by paying at the Senior Center no less than a week before the trip. Seats will be reserved on a first come, first served basis.

The bus will depart from the Mahwah Senior Center parking lot at 9 a.m. and will depart from NYC at 3:30 p.m.

When leaving the city, the bus will take participants on a Holiday Light Tour on 5th Avenue.
