Mahwah Student Wins Prestigious Math Award

Enver Aman was named a Trig-Star for the practical application of trigonometry.

MAHWAH, NJ — A high school sophomore was honored recently for his work in trigonometry.

Enver Aman was named a Tri-Star for demonstrating the practical application of trigonometry during a timed test. The exercise incorporates the use of various mathematical formulas and the laws of sines and cosines.

The National Society of Professional Surveyors cosponsors the test, which helps promote careers in surveying and mapping nationwide.
