Mahwah To Unveil High School's New STEAM Facility

MAHWAH, NJ - Mahwah school officials plan to unveil the district's newly-completed science and technology facility at Mahwah High School.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) addition on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Also known as "The Thunderbird Think Tank," the building houses science classrooms and computer labs and was completed in August, just in time for the start of the new school year.

According to a 2017 report from NorthJersey.com, the extension's cost is around $4.4 million.
