Mahwah Woman Charged In Purse Snatching
Doris Van Dunk was arrested after police investigated the theft of a woman's purse at the Mahwah Acme grocery store in December.
MAHWAH, N.J. — Police have arrested a Mahwah woman they said stole a woman's purse at the Acme grocery store in December.
Detective Michael Grassi arrested the woman, Doris Van Dunk, Mahwah police announced Monday.
Police initially said they were looking for a man they said was dressed up as an elderly woman who stole the purse out of shopping cart while the victim was turned away.
