Letter: Lawyer Endorses 'Strong' Candidates

Having been humbled by earning the support of so many Mahwah residents in past Town Council elections, I find myself in a new position this year of supporting others who share my same passion for our community. That is why I am proud to be supporting both Vicky Galow and Susan Steinberg in this year’s election for Mahwah Town Council.

Community service is an invaluable gift that is born in compassion and carried out through commitment – qualities that both Vicky and Susan exemplify. Vicky and Susan have proven track records in serving our community as both exemplary role models and smart, gifted, thoughtful and intelligent leaders of the organizations they have served. When combined with their impeccable educational backgrounds and their impressive professional careers, you have a recipe for the type of Town Councilpersons who will make a positive difference in our community and the type of community leaders we can all be proud of.

Vicky and Susan have demonstrated to me a meaningful and diligent understanding of the issues our community faces, and a thoughtful vision for how they would approach addressing those matters. Most impressive to me is the caring and respectful decorum that both ladies epitomize which are qualities I believe can be put to immediate use on our Council.
