Man Crashes Into Pole On Darlington Ave.: Police
The pole was cracked and the engine was smoking, police said.

MAHWAH, NJ — A man sustained minor injuries when his car crashed into a utility pole on Darlington Avenue Tuesday, authorities said.
Orange & Rockland responded to the scene to repair the pole. The Mahwah Fire Department also responded and disconnected the car's battery because smoke was coming from the engine, said Mahwah Police Chief James Batelli.
The driver received a summons for careless driving. The Mahwah Ambulance Corps took him to Valley Hospital for evaluation.

There were minor traffic delays in the area while the car was removed from the scene.
