Man Made Terroristic Threats, Harassed Bergen Resident: Prosecutor
Christopher J. Greig, 34, stalked and threatened the victim over the phone and on social media, authorities said.

A Hawthorne man is accused of making terroristic threats against a Bergen County resident, said Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal.
An investigation by the prosecutor's office Computer Crimes Unit revealed that Christopher J. Greig, 34, allegedly harassed, stalked, and made terroristic threats over the phone and on the internet and social media, Grewal said.
Greig and the alleged victim had no prior relationship and did not know one another, Grewal said.

Greig, of Hawthorne, was charged with cyber harassment, stalking, and making terroristic threats, the acting prosecutor said.
Bail was set at $50,000 with no 10 percent option and cannot have contact with the alleged victim, Grewal said.

Greig was remanded to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of bail. He is due to appear in Bergen County Municipal Court in Hackensack May 25 at 8:30 a.m.
