Nominate A Teacher For Annual Bergen County Audobon Society Award
The Dick Engsberg Teacher Appreciation Award is given out annually to teachers who connect their students with the natural world.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Applications are open for an award recognizing Bergen County teachers who incorporate nature and the environment into their classrooms.
The Dick Engsberg Teacher Appreciation Award, formerly the BCAS Teacher Appreciation Award, is given out annually to teachers who connect their students with the natural world. In 2019, the Audobon Society named it for the late Engsberg, a birder, former board member and educator.
The deadline for nominations is March 31, 2022 and the award will be presented in June.

Please submit nominations to Marie Longo, Education Chair at MLongo8383@aol.com. Nominations should include teacher name, school, grade(s), teacher phone number and email address and reason(s) you are nominating them.
