Person Apologizes To Bergen Police For Getting Arrested

'You were just doing your job,' the person said in a handwritten note.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A person apologized to one Bergen County police department for having to arrest them and sent the department a handwritten note saying such.

The person, only identified as T.R., apologized to the arresting Montvale Police officers saying "you were just doing your job."

In a Facebook post Thursday morning, the department said it took a lot of "maturity" and "courage" to leave the note.
