Police Looking For Mahwah Purse Snatcher Dressed As A Woman
The man may have tried to disguise himself as an elderly woman, police said.
MAHWAH, N.J. — Police are looking for a man they said dressed up as an elderly woman and stole a lady's purse from the Acme supermarket Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
Police said the purse was stolen out of a shopping cart at about 12:10 p.m. while the victim was turned away, Chief James Batelli said.
