Ramapo College Move-In, Arching Ceremony, Kicks Off New Semester

The new semester officially starts on Wednesday, but students have already made their way to the Mahwah campus this week.

MAHWAH, NJ — "Welcome Week" is underway at Ramapo College, and the incoming freshmen class has officially been welcomed onto campus.

The college's arching ceremony took place on Monday evening, signaling both the beginning of the semester and a return to a somewhat normal college environment.

Students also moved in on Monday, and will be going through a lengthy list of welcome events this week.

One group even had some help moving in from new President Cindy Jebb, the college shared.

"Together let's be bold, be kind, and be good teammates," Jebb told the group.
