Shot Dallas Police Officer Gets A Tour Of MetLife Stadium
The State Police gave Officer Bryan Shaw a tour of the facility. Shaw was shot in the ambush where five of his fellow officers were killed.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The State Police Department made a shot Dallas police officer's recent visit to the Garden State a little more fun.
El Centro College police Cpl. Bryan Shaw was shot during the ambush that saw five of his colleagues killed. During surgery late last month, doctors discovered an entire AK-74 bullet inside his abdomen, The Dallas Morning News reported.
Shaw was hit when Micah Johnson shot out glass doors at the college July 7. He was visiting New Jersey for some "rest and relaxation."

When state police officers saw that he was in the area, members of the State Police Meadowlands Station gave Shaw a tour of MetLife Stadium. Shaw also got a personal tour of the New York Giants' training facility.
"A big thanks for the troopers at the Meadowlands Station and William Squires for showing Bryan some Jersey hospitality while he was in town," a post on the State Police Facebook page stated. "Bryan put his life on the line protecting the citizens of Dallas and for that we thank him."
