Spots Open For Lions Club Golf Outing

The Saddle River Lions Club, which serves Mahwah, Ramsey, Allendale, Saddle River and Upper Saddle River, is hosting its annual golf outing next week. Spots are still available for area golfers who want to participate. But, pre-registration is recommended.

The Herb Bodensiek Golf Classic is $120 per golfer. The cost includes golfing, a cart, a continental breakfast, barbeque lunch, beer and beverages.

The outing also offers an auction, raffle prizes, and a $5,000 hole in one.

The event, being held at the Spook Rock Golf Course in Rockland County, begins at 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1.

The Lions Club, which meets twice a month in Mahwah, encourages members to engage in service projects that benefit the community.
