Start Collecting Food For Mahwah Day Donation
The Center for Food Action will be collecting donations next Saturday

With just over a week left until Mahwah Day, representatives from the Center for Food Action in Mahwah are asking the community to start preparing to make a donation.
The CFA will be at next Saturday collecting donations. According to the organization's website, the daily most needed items includecanned tuna, peanut butter parmalat milk and hearty soups.
CFA Manager Jim James is encouraging residents to work donation preparation in their pre-Mahwah Day routines. "[It'd be great if folks could] look for the CFA Van and bring a bag of food to donate when they come to celebrate the day," he said.

A full list of items the Center collects is posted on its website. They include:
- Supermarket Gift Cards-these allows us to purchase what is missing from donations
- Canned Meat, Tuna, and Chicken, etc
- Canned Hearty Soup
- Canned Vegetables
- Macaroni & Cheese
- Peanut Butter & Jelly
- Cereal (low sugar kids cereal welcome)
- Dry Milk (e.g., boxed Parmalat)
- Canned Fruit
- Instant Potatoes
- 100% Juice
- Baby Formula & Diapers sizes 4, 5 & 6
- Soap
- Dental Hygiene Products
