Summer Concert Series Kicks Off July 9

The weekly Ramapo College Summer Concert Series will be held on Thursdays in July at the school.

The series kicks off July 9 with a performance by the Rachel Allyn Band.

The band performs some of the top modern country hits from artists Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, and Lady Antebellum.

The annual fireworks display will immediately follow the performance, weather permitting.

The Happenings will perform July 16. The group rose to prominence with their hit “See You In September.” Other hits include “Go Away Little Girl” and “I Got Rhythm.”

The Elton John tribute band Bobby and the Jets will perform July 23 and Tusk, a Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band will play on July 30.

All concerts start at 8 p.m. on the college’s Bandshell lawn. In case of rain concerts will be held in the Bradley Center Arena. Admission is free; parking cost $5 per vehicle.
