These Mahwah Teachers Are Among The Highest Paid In NJ

A few teachers at Indian Hills and Ramapo high schools make more than $114,000 annually.

MAHWAH, NJ — A few local teachers are among the highest paid in New Jersey.

The state Department of Education released its annual list of teachers' salaries for 2017. The Mahwah teachers who made the list all make significantly more than the average statewide salary of $70,637, which also includes librarians, guidance counselors, and other non-administrative staff, according to an NJ Spotlight analysis.
