This weekend, specifically Sunday is a special one for me, it is a day I say good bye to one decade and hello to a new one. Can it be that time again……already?

As I look back in time so many things have happened seemingly so quickly if I hadn’t lived it I wouldn’t believe IT

I entered this world a long, long time ago with limited vision and an incurable disease. Thank God that through His love my body has experienced His healing power twice. 2 years ago I wasn’t sure I’d be around to see this day

I’ve witnessed the births of new cousins and sad to say I’ve seen ohhh too many of us leave this world wayyyyy too early

I’ve been asked to serve as godfather to two cousins of mine that I love dearly. I know that Cole and Jessica know how much I love them and am so proud of them

I’ve experienced the feelings of love and that of rejection

I’ve traveled extensively from Hawaii to Cancun to California to New England to Mexica to Jamaica and to Puerto Rico and to many of the 48 contiguous states

I’ve been to a Super Bowl and saw my team win

I’ve been to Augusta for the Masters the hallowed ground of Golf

I’ve been able to communicate with many of you through the written word here and on some websites and also via radio stations like WRKL and WGHY

I’ve got my own verse of scripture in the Bible Psalms 115:12.

I’ve been privileged to be able to present Gods word 5 times

I’ve experienced the ups and downs that sometimes seem unique to me, then I’ve seem some people suffering so much more so than I ever did. Lord please have mercy on me and forgive me of my selfishness

I’ve seen a man walk on the moon

I’ve seen a man of color attain the highest office in the world

I’ve experienced a hurricane for real----in New Jersey

I’ve been crushed to hear someone I love be afflicted with cancer…….again

I’ve experienced all the emotions that a human can and STILL I RISE TO SEE ANOTHER DAY

I JUST WANNA THANK YOU GOD FOR GIVING ME ONE MORE CHANCE THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE GIVEN ME.
