The Wright Family Farm at 329 Kings Highway in Warwick is the location for Uncle Shoehorn’s 1st Annual Funky Corn Festival on Saturday September 7th from noon to 6PM. Popular Hudson Valley musical group, the eight-piece Uncle Shoehorn is known for producing “Funky Dance Parties” that bring crowds to their feet to dance to classic R&B, horn-drenched New Orleans Funk, classic rock and more. This special day of late summer fun is brought to you by a collaboration between Uncle Shoehorn and the Wright Family Farm.

The event will feature food and soft drinks provided by Fink’s BBQ with their BBQ Fire Truck and the Wright Family’s own food truck. Merchandise vendors Grateful Daze, Makisupa Metal Works, Cosmic Crystals, Scentsy and others will be selling an array of great items from apparel, jewelry, candles and perfumes to home décor, crystals, fashion accessories and more! The Wright family will also be vending homemade kettle korn and Mexican-style street corn on the cob. Fresh local sweet corn will also be available for sale.

Other corn- and farm-themed attractions on the Wright Family Farm include their amazing corn maze which provides acres of corn fields in which to lose one’s self, rides on the whimsical “Cow Train”, duck races and more. Of course, no Corn Fest would be complete without a Corn Hole Game Tournament which is being hosted by local anti-hunger activism group, Backpack Snack Attack which will split the purse 50/50 with the winning team.
