WATCH: Mahwah Library Hosts Board Of Education Candidate Forum

Six candidates are vying for three seats on the board during the 2021 elections. On Tuesday, they answered some questions from the public.

MAHWAH, NJ — Board of Education candidates received an opportunity to answer constitute questions, and introduce themselves, during a forum hosted virtually by the public library this week.

Six candidates are vying for three open seats on the Mahwah Board of Education in 2021, including Board President Benjamin A. Kezmarsky and Trustee Michael Galow, who are running for reelection.

Each open seat is for a three-year term, and those elected as members will be sworn in at the Board's 2022 reorganization meeting, scheduled for Jan. 5, 2022.
