People have always associated Valentine’s Day as the holiday of love for that particular someone or a family member, but love as a concept can also be expressed as “love one another” in 2017. Today, this concept came true when personnel from Northern Metropolitan Residential Healthcare Facility hand delivered 200 handmade Get-Well/Valentine’s Day cards to patients at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY.

"Our patients will greatly appreciate these thoughtful Valentine's Day cards,” said Jonnie Wesley-Krueger, Chief Engagement Officer, Good Samaritan Hospital/Bon Secours Charity Health System. "Special thanks to the residents for their generosity and creativity!"

The cards were created by residents at Northern Metropolitan and today, they are being given to patients at random, especially to those patients without a family.
