1 Injured in Drunk Driving Crash in Manalapan, Police Say

The DUI crash happened last Tuesday on Rt. 9 north in the area of Ryan Road. One person had to be taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center.

MANALAPAN, NJ - One person was injured in a drunk driving crash on Rt. 9 north last Tuesday in Manalapan Township, police said.

The crash occurred at 11:58 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28 in the northbound lanes of Rt. 9 in the area of Ryan Road. Anthony Galladay, 37, of Manchester Township, who is employed as a carpenter, was driving one of the cars, which crashed into another. Galladay was found to be intoxicated and was arrested at the scene.

The passenger in his vehicle sustained head injuries and was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center.

The driver and lone occupant of the second vehicle were not injured.

In addition, Galladay was also found to be a Wanted Person by the Monmouth County Superior Court and was transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending court.
