100 Bags of Heroin Found During Manalapan Traffic Stop, Police Say

A teen pulled over for weaving was found with heroin in his car.

Manalapan, NJ - A driver pulled over for weaving last Tuesday in Manalapan Township was found with 100 glassine baggies of heroin on him, police said, enough to distribute and sell the drug.

Cesar Ortiz, 19, of Jamesburg, was pulled over on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at approximately 11:45 a.m. on Mount Mills Road in Millstone because he was weaving and driving erratically on roads in Manalapan Township, police said.

During the stop, police found 100 glassine bags containing heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia in Ortiz’s car, they said.

He was arrested and charged with multiple drug offenses, as well as summonses for failure to maintain a lane and failure to have insurance.
