100s of Pain Pills Found in Manalapan Man's Car, Police Say

A local man was found with 329 Oxycodone pills in his car, as well as amphetamines.

Manalapan, NJ - A Manalapan man was found with more than 350 different painkillers on him during a traffic stop earlier this month on Whitman Boulevard.

Michael K. Rocchi, 24, of Manalapan, was pulled over at 10:40 p.m. on March 7 on Whitman Blvd., police said, after Patrolman Philip Accatatta observed him make several driving violations.

He was found to be in possession of 329 Oxycodone pills, 30 amphetamine and Dextroamphetamine pills, as well as under 50 grams of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, police said. $1,835 in cash was also seized, which police think may have been drug proceeds.

Rocchi, a car salesman, was arrested and transported to the Manalapan Township Police Department for processing.
