2 DUI Arrests in Manalapan
Drunk driving occurred on Church Lane and Rt. 9, Manalapan police said.

MANALAPAN, NJ - Two men were arrested for DUI in Manalapan Township last Wednesday in two different incidents, police said.
The first occurred at approximately 12:47 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15. Police stopped a car on Rt. 9 just into Marlboro Township. The driver of the vehicle, a 25-year-old unmarried male resident of Mexico, who is employed as a bus boy, was found to be driving drunk, police said. He was arrested, taken to headquarters and issued multiple motor vehicle summonses before being released to a sober friend.
The second was on Church Lane, where police said a local man drove into a fire hydrant at 10:28 p.m. that same Wednesday. A 52-year-old married male resident of Manalapan, who is employed as a vice president in finance, was found to be driving while intoxicated, police said. He was arrested, taken to police headquartesr, issued multiple motor vehicle summonses and released.
