25 PHOTOS: Dirty Fun for Extreme Athletes at Rock Solid Mud Run

Runners from across New Jersey and the tri-state area competed in the Rock Solid Mud Run at in Englishtown on Saturday, Aug. 6. The hundreds who participated in the sold-out event pushed their physical limits as they tested their skills, strength, and stamina in a 6 mile "short" course or a 12 mile long course. The military training-style race designed by US Marines combined running, swimming, climbing, and navigating difficult obstacles including crawling under electrified barbed wire.
