3 Women Arrested After Manalapan Best Buy Shoplifting, Police Say
Their car was stopped on Craig Road and all 3 women had outstanding criminal warrants.

Manalapan, NJ - Three women were arrested Saturday after they were caught driving away after shoplifting at the Manalapan Best Buy, Township police said.
At approximately 9:03 p.m. Saturday, patrols were called to the Best Buy for a shoplifting in progress. While en route to the location, they were notified that the subjects had left the store, and were given the vehicle description. Patrolman Adam Sosnowski saw the car and stopped it on Craig Road. Multiple electronic devices had been taken from the store, and were recovered.
All three women inside the car were found to have outstanding criminal warrants: Charisma Edwards, 22, of Asbury Park, was found to have a $1,500 criminal warrant out of Eatontown, and a $439 traffic warrant out of Wall Township. She was arrested, but could not post bail and was transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution after being processed. Fertima Nealy, 35, of Neptune Township,was arrested and charged with shoplifting. Nealy was also found to be a wanted person out of Ellicott City, Maryland for 2nd-degree assault and theft of less than $1,000. She was charged as a fugitive and lodged in Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending extradition.

Jiterrah H. O’Neal, 23, of Neptune City, was also arrested and charged with shoplifting and hindering apprehension, after providing the police with a false name. Ms. ONeal was found to have 9 warrants totaling $9,550 and was a wanted person out of Ocean Township, Neptune Township and Elizabeth. In Ocean Township, she was wanted for shoplifting. She was later remanded to the Middlesex County Correctional Institution by the Edison Police Department.
In other Manalapan crime news, a Bristol Road resident said someone broke into their car on Sunday, Dec. 5 at 10:30 p.m. The suspect was described as a white male in his 20’s with dark hair, wearing a plaid shirt, who fled on foot. Nothing was taken.
