5 Reported Car Theft Incidents In Manalapan: Police Blotter

On Wednesday, April 20, at approximately 5:01 a.m., three unidentified male actors attempt to pry open the front door of Luxury Labels, located at 335 Route 9, unsuccessfully and subsequently fled the area. Patrolman James Guarino took the report, which is pending further investigation.
On Wednesday, April 20, at approximately 8:24 a.m., a 55-year-old Manalapan resident reported an unknown actor(s) stole an unlocked vehicle, valued at approximately $27,000.00, that had the key fob inside, while it was parked at a Crystal Court residence. Patrolman Christopher Schou handled the report, which is pending further investigation.

On Wednesday, April 20, at approximately 5:15 p.m., a 70-year-old Manalapan resident reported that unknown actor(s) removed the catalytic convertors, valued at approximately $3,590.00, from multiple vehicles that were parked at a Madison Avenue business sometime between Friday April 15, 2022 and Wednesday April 20, 2022. Patrolman Everett McNulty took the report, which is pending further investigation.
On Thursday, April 21, at approximately 10:49 a.m., a 20-year-old Manalapan resident reported being harassed via text message and social media by a 21-year-old Manalapan resident. No complaints were signed as a result of this incident. Patrolman Hayden Hrymack handled the report.

On Friday, April 22, at approximately 8:43 a.m., employees of the Manalapan Township Department of Public Works reported that unknown actor(s) sprayed graffiti on the bridge for Milford Brook on Pease Road. It is unknown when the actor(s) spray painted the bridge. Patrolman Everett McNulty handled the report.
On Friday, April 22, at approximately 2:40 a.m., a 49-year-old Manalapan resident reported that an unknown actor(s) entered an unlocked vehicle that was parked at a Roxbury Lane residence and stole various items valued at approximately $70.00. Patrolman Everett McNulty handled the report, which is pending further investigation.
On Friday, April 22, at approximately 9:20 p.m., a 49-year-old Manalapan resident reported that an unknown actor gained entry to an unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the driveway of a Silverleaf Way residence. No items were reported missing from the vehicle. Patrolman Kyle Earley took the initial report, which is pending further investigation.
On Monday, April 25, at approximately 4:56 p.m., Patrolman Christopher Makwinski conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Route 33 for a motor vehicle violation. The operator, identified as Lariliz Jimenez, a 35-year-old, divorced, female resident of Elizabeth, who is employed as a project manager, was found to have warrants issued for her arrest by the Spotswood Boro Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.00, the Woodbridge Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.00, the East Brunswick Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.00, and
the Elizabeth Municipal Court in the amount of $500.00. Ms. Jiminez was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Christopher Makwinski was the arresting officer.
On Tuesday, April 26, at approximately 4:02 p.m., a 39-year-old Freehold resident reported an unknown actor(s) attempted to steal an unlocked vehicle that was parked at 345 Route 9 in Manalapan. The actors subsequently fled the scene. Patrolman Ryan Brady investigated the incident.
On Tuesday, April 26, at approximately 6:15 p.m., a 69-year-old Manalapan resident and a 75-year-old Manalapan resident each reported being harassed by the other at an Amberly Drive residence. Patrolman Ryan Brady handled the report.
On Tuesday, April 26, at approximately 6:45 p.m., employees of Romeo’s Pizzeria, located on Route 33, Brooklyn Square Pizza, located on Wilson Avenue, Wong’s Chinese Restaurant, located on Tennent Road, Emilio’s Pizzeria, located on Tennent Road, and Molino’s Pizzeria, located on Gordon’s Corner Road, reported delivering large amounts of food that had been ordered to a Manalapan residence, totaling $767.01, that was never ordered by the resident.
Patrolman Matthew Meyler handled the report, which is pending further investigation.
