6 Arrested In Group Assault On Manalapan Teenager: Police
The attackers, who used crowbars, ranged in ages from 17 to 21.

MANALAPAN, NJ— A group of six were arrested for beating a Manalapan teenager with bats and crowbars in a parking lot, police said.
Police were called to a parking lot on St. Andrews Place on Sunday, after receiving reports of a disturbance around 10:30 p.pm. A 19-year-old Manalapan teenager told police that he was assaulted by a group of five who were wielding bats and crowbars.
In total, six were arrested: Alexander Madonna, a 19, Harvey “Lee” Hatfield, 21, Gavin Kenney, an unnamed 17-year-old male, all from South Toms River and Zachary Seeds, 20, and Kayla Lutz, 20, both from Bayville.

The group was found to be in possession of multiple folding knives and a crow bar.
All six were charged with Aggravated Assault, Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose and Criminal Mischief. In addition, Madonna had warrants out for his arrest totaling $1,500.

Bail is set for $60,000 each, and all are being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of bail.
