All that Jazz: MAC Entertains with Live Jazz at Knob Hill

What's better than Jazz on a Saturday night?

The Manalapan Arts Council held its second annual jazz concert at the Knob Hill Golf Club, entertaining the crowd on hand.

According to the Manalapan Township Web site and Manalapan Arts Council chairperson Judith Drucker, the council strives for increasing community participation at arts events, obtaining feedback from residents, and establishing a formal budget recommendation procedure to fund art programs. It is a volunteer-driven organization. 

"These young people work so hard to put on a show," Drucker said, who has been involved with the Council for over five years.

"A person can learn so much about themselves participating in art, such as music," she continued. "I'm happy to see those in attendance appreciate and are enjoying the jazz quartet performing. They're all amazingly talented and the next great generation of musicians. We're all about helping those tap into their untapped potential with some form of art."

The Manalapan Art Council's next event is part of its Summer Concert Series on Wed., July 20 when the  rewinds to the 1950s by featuring a musical performance by .
