MANALAPAN, NJ — Drivers should be aware of a change in parking and drop-off procedures at Manalapan High School and surrounding areas for the 2026-27 school year.
According to Manalapan Police, Manalapan High School students will no longer be able to park at the Manalapan Recreation Center.
Park hours during the week are 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and the gates at both entrances of the park will be locked until 8:00 a.m.
Additionally, vehicles will not be permitted to drop off students on Route 522 (per Ordinance 226-6 prohibiting parking on Route 522 between Tennent Road and the Englishtown border).
High school students will also not be permitted to park at the Manalapan Township Municipal Building.
Between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., high school students will not be allowed to park on Thomas Drive, Terrence Drive, Timothy Place, Old Monmouth Drive, and Wheatley Road on school days.
"Officers will be in the area enforcing the above ordinances to ensure the safety of the students and vehicular traffic," police said.
