MANALAPAN, NJ — The 15-year-old boy who was reported missing on Wednesday has been found, authorities said.
According to a statement from the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, the boy was found safe and unharmed after disappearing at Monmouth Battlefield State Park on Wednesday.
"Prosecutor Santiago would like to thank all law enforcement and the over 100 total resources who came together in a truly collaborative effort to bring Kamilo Giraldo to safety," the prosecutor's office said.
The prosecutor's office also extended its thanks to 40 MCPO detectives and local agencies who helped to ensure that Giraldo was found unharmed.
