Ed Reed Named 2012 Electrical Inspector of the Year

P R O C L A M A T I O N

Whereas, Edward R. Reed Jr. has been employed as a full-time Electrical Inspector for the Construction Code Department of Manalapan Township since January 15, 2004; and

Whereas, six months later, Mr. Reed was promoted to Electrical Sub-code Official for the Construction Code Department of Manalapan Township; and    

Whereas, the Municipal Electrical Inspector’s Association has selected Edward R. Reed, Jr. as the 2012 Electrical Inspector of the Year for his outstanding contributions in the areas of code enforcement and electrical inspection; and

Whereas, Mr. Reed will be honored by his association and by the Department of Community Affairs at an awards luncheon during the Building Safety Conference of New Jersey on May 10, 2012 in Atlantic City, NJ.   

Whereas, Mr. Reed has been a loyal employee of Manalapan Township, and by his selection for this honor has brought pride to Manalapan Township.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that I, Mayor Susan Cohen, together with the members of the Township Committee of the Township of Manalapan, do call upon our residents and his fellow employees to join with us in extending our congratulations to Edward R. Reed Jr., for being named the 2012 Electrical Inspector of the Year Award and wish to thank him for his dedication and hard work.
