Annual Comedy Night Scores Big With Local Residents
Large turnout expected for the night of laughs

The Manalapan Braves Touchdown Club’s fourth annual comedy night fundraiser on Saturday, November 24 is sure to have a lot of inside football humor, but as past attendees will attest, there will be a lot of laughs for player families, fans, and non-fans alike. Headlined by local comedian and Touchdown Club (TDC) president Gary Michaels, the show will feature several comedic guests and is open to all local residents.
“We’ve been putting on the show for a few years and every year it gets better and better,” he said. “I’ll do the annual roast of the coaches and I have some new local material. The line-up is phenomenal and we’re bringing in talent that is sure to deliver a night of laughs that everyone will remember.”
To be held at Manalapan’s Ivy League Day Camp, the annual comedy night fundraiser is a bring your own food and beverage event, but if past events help to predict the future, attendees will cart in an untold number of platters, three-foot subs, chips and dips, and an assortment of desserts and pastries. Along with time to mix and mingle, the evening boasts a basket auction with contributions from local vendors including Castle Couture, Blinds to Go, The Max Challenge of Manalapan and others.
