Applications Open For 2026 Manalapan Police Youth Academy

MANALAPAN, NJ — The application period for the 2026 Manalapan Police Youth Academy is officially open, the police department recently announced.

For 2026, the police youth academy is scheduled for two separate sessions for kids between the ages of 12 and 17 on the following dates:

• Monday, July 27 until Friday, July 31 will be for NEW CADETS ONLY (Anyone who is attending for the first time)
• Monday, August 3 until Friday, August 7 will be for RETURNING CADETS ONLY (Anyone who has attended before)

The academy is not a "boot camp" for troubled youth, but rather a week-long academy designed to showcase what an actual police academy would entail for those interested in law enforcement.

Manalapan Police are asking those interested to complete this application and return it to the Manalapan Township Police Department before the deadline of Tuesday, June 30, with the associated fee.
