April is “National Cancer Control Month.” The main focus of this month is for all Americans, whether they have been through cancer first hand or not, to lead healthier, more productive lives. It is a time for everyone to remember the effects cancer can have and to make efforts to prevent it. Knowing the warning signs of cancer can save a life. The signs include:

Change in bowel/bladder habits

A sore that does not heal
