Break-in in Manalapan, $20,000 in Jewelry, Cash Taken, Homeowner Says
The home broken into is on Springhouse Circle, police said.

Manalapan, NJ - A Manalapan home was broken into late last month and more than $20,000 worth of cash, jewelry and clothing was taken, the homeowner reported.
The break-in occurred at a home on Springhouse Circle sometime between 3:30 p.m. on April 22 and 8:30 p.m. on April 24, the victim said.
The woman, 45, said she thinks someone entered her home by forcing open a rear sliding door. The suspects then entered the master bedroom and kitchen, stealing clothing, jewelry and cash with an approximate total value of $20,775. No other items were taken from the residence, police said.

In an unrelated incident, a Taylors Mills Road resident said someone tried to break into his unlocked car at 1:20 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26. Nothing was taken.
