About the presenter: Brian Benedicks is an AI Technical Lead for the Department of the Navy(NAVAIR) and has a Master’s candidate in Product Innovation for AI at Duke University. A former Navy nuclear submarine officer, Brian excels at translating complex, high-level technical concepts—like the inner workings of transformers and large language models—into practical, accessible insights for the local community.
