Honey Bees: A Powerful Pollinator takes the audience on a Honey Bee journey – from its’ appearance in North America to the current status of Honey Bees today. Discover the social structure of this organism and how it continues to impact the prosperity of our earth. Learn some of the basics of Beekeeping, view the inside of a hive and step through the method of harvesting honey. Discover ways that you can become a pollinator protector. We hope you can “BEE” there!

About the presenter: Angela Juffey retired after teaching for 37 years in Freehold Township and began Beekeeping, presently serving as Secretary of the Central Jersey Beekeepers Association. She received her Master Gardener Certification in 2017 and is an active member of the Rutgers Master Gardeners of Monmouth County. She educates the public about honey bees, pollinators, holiday plants, terrariums, and hügelkultur.
